A team of thrill seekers from Wrexham have raised more than £5,000 for Hope House Children’s Hospice after completing a skydive.
The colleagues, from Hadlow Edwards, took on the daring challenge at recently at Tilstock Airfield at Whitchurch where they were flown a massive 10,000 feet into the air before bravely leaping from the plane.
Warren Hadlow, Director at Hadlow Edwards, said: “We are delighted to support such a great cause and we couldn’t do that without the individual support and donations from so many of our clients, friends, and family.
“We also had the added bonus of it being great fun as well.”
Cat Dowdeswell, fundraiser at the charity said: “We are so grateful to the incredible skydivers from Hadlow Edwards – they were all absolutely amazing.
“To raise such an amazing amount of money is amazing and will help us be here to support seriously ill local children and their families when they need us, which we simply would not be able to do without support like this.
“Thank you all so, so much.”
