Meet the Team

Mark Jones - Director

Mark has worked at Hadlow Edwards and St. James’s Place in the paraplanning and management teams since 2017 and holds qualifications including a Diploma in Financial Planning. He is currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status.

He loves spending time in the gym and with friends, and is avid sports fan. He has a dog named Poppy who he enjoys taking out for a walk, although he dislikes wet weather and heights, so prefers to do this on a sunny day and well away from any clifftops or high bridges!

Katy Davies - Director

Having worked for Hadlow Edwards and St. James’s Place since 2014, Katy has picked up considerable experience in roles throughout the admin teams and management teams at both companies.

She currently holds a certificate in higher education in Applied Business Management, and hopes to build on this with the completion of a degree in the same subject in the near future.

Away from the office, Katy has two Springer Spaniels, named Barney and Minnie, and keeps herself healthy by going the gym and running. Despite being a lover of the great outdoors, Katy is not a fan of Britain’s dark winter nights.

Preeyen Mistry - Paraplanner

Preeyen joined the team from a scientific background. Having completed a BSC in Biomedical Science and an MSC in industrial Biotechnology, Preeyen thrives off research, analysis and problem solving. Three key areas that are key to a paraplanning career.

Preeyen has a desire to complete his Diploma in regulated Financial Planning and is currently studying the exam material.

Outside of work Preeyen enjoys cycling, the gym and Sci Fi shows. However he has a strong dislike for seafood!

Stephen O'Neill - Paraplanner

Stephen joins the team with multiple years of Financial and St James’s Place experience, having worked within SJP practices before. Stephen is currently working towards his full Diploma in Financial Advice. Before his career in Financial services began, Stephen worked as a Technical Manager at a Chemical Manufacturers.

In his own time, Stephen is a keen Footballer and is Captain of Llandudno Junction FC. Despite living near the coast, Stephen has a dislike of the Sea!

Tom Edwards - Paraplanner

Tom joins the team, with a solid foundation of SJP and industry experience having worked previously for Hadlow Edwards Wealth Management in the Client Servicing Team. Tom is currently undertaking study for his aspiration of achieving a full Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice. In his own time, Tom is a keen and competitive footballer, playing for his local team , Penycae. Despite enjoying going out for meals with friends and family, Tom hates Gherkins!

Danielle Purslow - Paraplanner

Danielle holds a BSc in Biomedical Science and an MSc in Physician Associate Studies. After graduating, she qualified as a GMC-regulated Physician Associate in 2024, gaining valuable experience within the medical field. Alongside her studies, Danielle worked as a Cash Administrator at Ralph Lauren, where she first developed an interest in the financial services sector.

Danielle is now beginning her career in paraplanning and is looking forward to developing her knowledge within financial services. She aspires to continue studying, gain further professional qualifications, and ultimately progress to become a financial adviser in the future.

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time at her caravan in North Wales with her husband and their adopted German Shepherd–Labrador cross, Bella. She loves a day out at a theme park, anything horror-related, and a competitive game of bingo – even organising bingo for guests at her own wedding! Known for her competitive streak, Danielle never turns down a games night with friends. She is also famously a very picky eater, with a firm dislike of onions and anything too spicy.

James Bouch - Paraplanner

James began his career in banking as a complaints handler before joining his family’s bakery business. He holds an undergraduate degree in Economics with Business and a master’s degree in International Finance.

Drawn to paraplanning by his strong interest in financial advice, James joined Hadlow Edwards to develop his technical knowledge and gain valuable industry experience. He was particularly inspired by the career progression of colleagues who began in paraplanning and went on to build successful careers in financial advice.

Since joining, James has received a warm welcome from the team and has already gained a wealth of knowledge. His ambition is to become a qualified paraplanner before progressing to a career as a financial adviser.

Outside work, James enjoys spending time with his partner and two children and playing golf. One thing he is less keen on is heights!

Sophie Mercer - Paraplanner

Sophie graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Psychology, having previously gained experience working in a pharmacy, medical centre and children’s care home as a support worker.

With a naturally logical and maths-oriented approach, Sophie has always had an interest in pursuing a career in finance. She was particularly drawn to paraplanning as an opportunity to explore a new field, challenge herself and develop a new set of skills.

Since joining the team, Sophie has thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of learning something completely new. Despite having no previous experience in paraplanning, she has settled into the role well and has particularly valued the support and encouragement from the wider team.

Sophie is looking forward to continuing to develop her knowledge and skills within the team and working towards gaining her paraplanning qualifications.

James Parry - Director

James serves as a Director of both Hadlow Edwards Paraplanning Solutions and Hadlow Edwards Wealth Management Ltd. He has over 10 years’ experience in the Hadlow Edwards family, as well as with St. James’s Place.

A sport lover, James enjoys golf and football, being a fan of Liverpool FC.

Somewhat inconveniently considering his love of the Spanish sun, he’s not a big fan of flying.

Warren Hadlow - Director

Warren brings over 20 years’ experience with Hadlow Edwards Wealth Management and St. James’s Place to his current role as a Director of both Hadlow Edwards Wealth Management Ltd and Hadlow Edwards Paraplanning Solutions.

He’s a big fan of travel, particularly to seaside areas where he enjoys his hobbies of fishing and boating, as well as walking his dogs, Wilma and Fly. His adventurous lifestyle leads him to live music shows, as well as physical sports like rugby and skiing.

To keep Warren happy, don’t talk politics, soaps or junk TV with him, as these are not high on his list of interests!

Tom Hadlow - Director

Like Warren and James, Tom also serves a dual role as a Director of both Hadlow Edwards Wealth Management Ltd and Hadlow Edwards Paraplanning Solutions. His experience in the Hadlow Edwards family comes in at over 10 years.

Tom has two dogs, called Arnie and Olive, and loves to spend time with them, whether at home or taking them out for walks.

He dislikes the most cherished of British fruits – the strawberry!
